Colorado Connections.

Okay, it's really only one crazy little connection.

But it was pretty cool and I don't want to do homework right now so I'm sharing it with you.

Today, I was sitting in Chemistry class and we were working on some sample problems (which were pretty easy) and I hear the group behind me talking about football. One of them mentions that he's a Broncos fan... and naturally I get somewhat excited. And then he mentions that he's from Colorado.

Naturally I had to ask him what part.

And so I do.

"Montrose" is what he says.

I get excited, because, well, I love that place. And I was just there less than two months ago.

I then mention to him that I served my mission there... and that I was in the Black Canyon ward. He was in the Spring Creek ward. And then he goes on to explain to me the reason why we never saw each other "well, with the new South building... we wouldn't have even been in the same building even though we were in the same town and so we never would've seen each other......"

Pretty crazy, am I right?

I miss Colorado a lot right now. And most especially being a missionary.

Don't worry, only about 40 years until I can serve again!

Home.

Well folks, I'm back from Colorado.

Bittersweet. That's for sure.

I've been home for about 3 weeks and I'm starting to feel a little bit more adjusted.... and yet not really. And how am I suppose to explain how amazing and lovely my time in Colorado was? Being a full-time missionary is literally the best thing ever and I'll look back on those experiences daily. But, just with everything else, we learn from experiences and get to continue to build upon the knowledge that we've gained. So, as hard as this is, I now get to focus on my next path.

But, here is a picture of my final moments as a full-time missionary in Colorado. The classic whale picture with my favorite Assistants, Elder Whiteley and Elder Holmstead.

Until next time.

See you soon.

I enter the MTC in just a couple of hours.

So I'll be gone for 18 months!

Exciting times, friends.

My address is on Facebook, so write me if you want to stay in touch! :)

Off on a new adventure.

Here I come Colorado! (Well, kind of. First stop: Provo.)

And don't worry, this isn't a goodbye. It's just a see you soon! :)

5000.

My apologies for not blogging in decades (or what feels like decades).

I really should soon.

You know, recount my trip, etc.

But I've been too busy with my looooooong list of things I have to get done.

Packing,
Emailing,
Phone calls,
Organizing,
Tying up last odds and ends,
Etc.

But I just checked on my blog today.

And I just noticed that today I've had 15 page views.
Weird.

Yesterday I had zero. haha so random!

But I now officially have 5000 total views.

Woot.

Okay, time to be productive. I'll try to visit again soon!

Olympics.

This is my life.

Every two years, you can guarantee this is where I am.
You could say I'm obsessed.

(Traveling at this particular time is a little bit of a bummer though because I can't just be lazy and watch the Olympics all day. Woe is me. BUT hopefully we'll be in London in a few days(!!!).)

Peace & blessings (and go Team USA!)

:)
