Boys.

Favorite thing I've read today:

"UhhhhAhhhBlehhhhBoooo
Boys drive me crazy. There's too many of them and they always think I am mad at them....That makes me mad at them. Then I think what's my problem! Why am I mad. Then I think "oh ya, its cause I am dealing with a boy!" ;)"

Erin Young really knows how it is. Oh that girl is delightful.

For some reason, while reading that, I start laughing out loud. Am I the only one who thinks it's hilarious? Probably. haha oh well.

I just figured to post this little gem with all of you (mainly you Erin haha since no one else reads this blog.)

Final Update:
Humanites: DONEZO. (B+)
Family Foundations: DONE. (A)
Advanced Swimming: DONEE (A). (Also, just a sad side note, that was the last class EVER of Advanced Swimming.... they don't offer it anymore, rude.)

BioStats project: DONE
BioStats Take home final: in progress.
BioStats TC final: to be completed tomorrow.
Botany: Friday at 7.

Maybe I should go to bed now.
tomorrow equals tests+homework+packing(boo)+cleaning+last night with all the roommates. :(

And by tomorrow I obviously mean today since it's after midnight. hahaha

It's also this kids 20th birthday!:

(tell me this isn't the cutest picture ever. or don't, whatever. haha)

:(

It really sucks when you spend hours studying for a class and then you still don't do well on the final.

My Botany grade (that has been a 96%+ the ENTIRE semester) dropped to a 93% yesterday which was sad but I had a little bit of hope that I could still pull off an A. But today, it dropped to a 91%. Now I have to work to keep my A-. Ugh. :((

School can be so disappointingly frustrating sometimes. I am so ready to have a nice little break.

This has been my best semester yet and now it's all falling apart. BOO. :(

At least my Swimming, Humanities and Family Foundations grades are set in stone. And BioStats should be a piece of cake. Botany is really (and has always been) my only worry. Luckily tomorrow we're having a review for our final which he says is "vital" and then I have two days to study, study, study for the test.

Wish me luck!

Here is my updated to do list:
Math Final (two parts)
Math Project
Botany Final (at 7 AM Friday)
Clean.
Pack.
Leave.

(Nine finals down, 4 more to go.)

Here we go!

Lessons Learned.

I've learned two important things in these past couple of days.

The first one is that I'm too nice and that apparently people don't have to apologize to me. Good to know. I don't really know why it's so hard to just say that you're sorry but that's not really my deal. Ugh.

Second, you are blessed when you are diligent. I have been studying my heart out these past couple of days and I have been SO stressed with my two finals to take today. Well, in one of them, I got a 88% which allowed me to still get a B+ in the class. Hallelujah. (Although, I checked my grade earlier and I had a B in the class so then he curved the test and I was blessed to have my grade improve just a little bit! So happy!) I seriously needed that. :) The other one, I'm still not sure about and I felt like I knew most of the stuff but not all of it so we will see in a couple days (after he's graded it) how I did. Hopefully it'll allow me to keep my A in the class that I've worked so hard for.

Anyway, remember at the beginning of the semester when I shared that quote from Devotional? "Always be where you're supposed to be when you're supposed to be there"? Yeah, best advice ever.

Didn't miss a devotional (except one when I felt like death but I listened to it on the radio!)
Went to the temple weekly.
Was in class, always.

And what am I finishing off this semester with? Best grades yet. :)

Put the Lord first and you'll do great things.

6 finals down, 7 more to go. (hahahaha yeah, I know, my life is AWESOME.)

p.s. just a fun fact, I have 13 finals and I'm taking 13 credits. This doesn't seem right AT ALL. :(

That is all for now. Time to get back to my homework.... that I've been doing all day long (besides a nice little FHE at the Bishop's adorable house).

cool.

All my followers/readers must've died or I would've gotten some comments in the past 12 posts.

(hint, hint)

In other news, tomorrow I start my journey of finals.

BRING.

IT.

ON.

My goal (and I'm 99% sure it'll be a reality) is to finish this semester with a 3.84. Not to shabby.

Time for bed. I need my beauty sleep before these tests and before the chaos really starts. :)

T-10 days.... and counting.

Ladies and gentlemen (except mostly ladies because no one reads this blog haha),

I only have TEN more days in Rexburg until April 15th (give or take). Who thinks that's insane?

Me too.

Instead of looking at this everyday:

I'm going to see this:

It's going to be VERY different. But so good.

I don't like new things or change so I'm a little nervous/anxious about this but I know once I get there, I'm not going to ever want to leave. hahaha :/

Here's what I have to do between now and 6:30 am on July 23rd:
Two finals on Friday (7/15)
Two finals on Monday (7/18)
Take a test before 10:15 Tuesday (7/19) morning.
Project due at 10:15 Tuesday (7/19) morning.
Final on Friday (7/22) at 7:00 AM.
Plus a testing center + take home portion of my Stats final which open on Friday and are closing... sometime next week.
And I have to pack EVERYTHING, store it/get it airplane safe.
AND white glove. Oh gosh. Things are going to get crazy.

Want to hear how my "summer" starts out?
Shuttle at 6:30 AM.
Flight out of SLC at ~12:30.
Land in OAK at ~3.
Go home, unpack, repack, shop, etc.
Go to church Sunday/finish packing.
Wake up "before the butt-crack of dawn" on Monday morning to fly out of SFO at 7:30.
JOY.

I will then spend MORE than an entire day in the sky/in airports. ha. great.

Anywho, onto more serious things. This is my new favorite song. I LOVE Michael and I adore this song.

(Sorry team, I can't embed it because Mr. Buble's channel won't allow it. But follow that link!)

It's been my theme song for this week.

I've been in this weird funk these past couple of days. I don't really know what's going on but I just feel like I'm missing something.... like my other half. hahaha which sounds weird.

But it's true.

I've gotten to the point where I am used to Josh being away and such (since it has been TEN months and all...) but sometimes, I just reach the point where I need him. No one is a decent enough substitute. I've pretty much felt like this these past couple of days. And it's hard to figure out how to get out of this situation because the only thing that I KNOW will make it better is him. But that isn't really an option.

And for some reason, I've seem more couples/noticed them more this week than normal. And it always makes me kinda sad. haha I mean, I don't necessarily WANT to be in a relationship right now but it's hard to lose something good for no reason at all (granted, it was a good reason haha but it's just... hard?) Yeah, I don't know.

I think that's why I love this song.

Um, yep. hahahaha I just miss that boy a lot. :(

10 months down, 14 more to goooooo.

(fun fact: he's been gone as long as we dated. haha, 10 months of dating, 10 months of mission, and in 10 months, I'll be TWENTY-ONE years old. crazy.)

So um, yes. I suppose that's all to share right now. I apologize if this was more emotion than you were expecting. haha

I should probs study/do homework/be productive. :)

Issue.

I think I'm becoming obsessed with online shopping/buying shoes.

I just bought some Chaco's for the summer/Jerusalem/life in general.

And I've been perusing Toms' website for a couple days now. I want me some Toms but the only ones I find that I like are.... out of stock. DANG IT.

I will get some eventually.

But as of now, nada. :( makes me want to cry.

Anywho, I should probs finish my homework now. haha

ALSO, I HATE MY NOSE RIGHT NOW. I CAN'T BREATHE. :(

You know finals are just around the corner when....

-You spend a whole afternoon playing with the "What-if" calculator on I-Learn figuring out how badly you can do on a final and still get an A in the class.

(And see how good you need to do in order to keep that A. haha)

-A big reason you go to class is to go inside an air conditioned building.

-You have ZERO motivation to go to your hour and a half long MATH class that starts at 3:15. But you go and then half pay attention/play games on your phone like the rest of the class.

(Note to self: DON'T TAKE LATE CLASSES ANYMORE. YOU'LL REGRET IT.)

-You realize that you bought a $100 book at the bookstore and you haven't opened it yet and can assume that it won't be opened at all. Good use of money.

-You stop having homework. You just have lots of huge impending tests.

-Although some teachers didn't get that memo and they assign you way more homework assignments due on one day than you've had due all semester long.

-You spend time writing letters to missionaries/reading blogs when you know you should study for your tests that are in a week.

(I'm sure there are PLENTY more things I could add to my list but I can't think of any right now.)

But here is a sneak peak at my favorite photo assignment that I've had to do all semester.
(For FDHUM we have to take pictures every so often. This one was a themed assignment and the theme was "Apples".)

Waaa-laa:

I was SO SO SO tempted to take all my pictures of this kind of "Apple" but I figured Brother Davis wouldn't appreciate it.... or he would love it. And I didn't want to risk it.

So I suppose that sums it up. My apple photoshoot was so fun. Loved it. :)

Time to study now? Perhaps.
