Senioritis.

I think it's happening, people.

Senioritis is officially getting real.

I think it's obvious that senioritis is a real thing when you watch entire seasons of Gilmore Girls in an entire week.

It's become an obsession. Seriously.

I think I've been through 2 seasons this week.

Andddddd. It's still going.

Instead of working on my lab notebook, doing research, writing my paper, doing my picture project or any number of tasks, I've decided that netflix is really nice.

So. That's a thing.

On that note, I need to go back to Stars Hollow.

Horoscopes.

I never read my horoscope.

But today, as I was scrolling yahoo's front page, I happened upon it.

And boy, was it SPOT. ON.

Take a look for yourself (although you don't know what has been happening today, the horoscope will let you know. haha)

Taurus

 4/20-5/20
Everything seems more complicated than necessary today. People may tell you more than you deem appropriate and knowing too much isn't a comfortable position for you. You might want to retreat in your mind to a simpler time, but going back to the past won't prevent the future from arriving. The wheels are in spin and you can't stop them even if it all feels like too much. You have the best chance to positively influence the future when you fearlessly act with good intentions. Instead of closing down your heart to protect it, keep returning to a place of love.

Colorado Connections.

Okay, it's really only one crazy little connection.

But it was pretty cool and I don't want to do homework right now so I'm sharing it with you.

Today, I was sitting in Chemistry class and we were working on some sample problems (which were pretty easy) and I hear the group behind me talking about football. One of them mentions that he's a Broncos fan... and naturally I get somewhat excited. And then he mentions that he's from Colorado.

Naturally I had to ask him what part.

And so I do.

"Montrose" is what he says.

I get excited, because, well, I love that place. And I was just there less than two months ago.

I then mention to him that I served my mission there... and that I was in the Black Canyon ward. He was in the Spring Creek ward. And then he goes on to explain to me the reason why we never saw each other "well, with the new South building... we wouldn't have even been in the same building even though we were in the same town and so we never would've seen each other......"

Pretty crazy, am I right?

I miss Colorado a lot right now. And most especially being a missionary.

Don't worry, only about 40 years until I can serve again!

Home.

Well folks, I'm back from Colorado.

Bittersweet. That's for sure.

I've been home for about 3 weeks and I'm starting to feel a little bit more adjusted.... and yet not really. And how am I suppose to explain how amazing and lovely my time in Colorado was? Being a full-time missionary is literally the best thing ever and I'll look back on those experiences daily. But, just with everything else, we learn from experiences and get to continue to build upon the knowledge that we've gained. So, as hard as this is, I now get to focus on my next path.

But, here is a picture of my final moments as a full-time missionary in Colorado. The classic whale picture with my favorite Assistants, Elder Whiteley and Elder Holmstead.

Until next time.
